Year in Review|Top 5 Blog Posts

Hi Friends! I can’t believe we are marking the end of another trip around the sun and will be entering a new decade in just a couple of days! As I’m sure many of you do, I find this to be a wonderful time to reflect on the past year both personally and professionally. The funny thing is that, while my blog is mostly focused on home decorating and entertaining, much of my personal life and events are captured on these pages. It is always fun for me to look back at the accomplishments and projects that we completed in at our California home as well as our Montana ranch in the last year, and this one was especially full and successful! Below is a short list of some of my professional highlights in 2019 as well as the top 5 blog posts for the year. And at the end of this post you will find links to 8 of my friends who are also sharing their accomplishments for 2019!

• We had 2 magazine shoots at our California home; one for Better Homes and Gardens and one for Country Gardens!
• I became the home editor for West Magazine and have photos and articles published in every issue…Yay!
• We completed a major building project at our ranch that may be my favorite of all time.
• @sanctuaryhomedecor reached 50k followers on Instagram which means I have tons of new Insta-friends!
• I connected with dozens of super=talented and inspiring home decor bloggers and influencers who I now collaborate with regularly.
• And MOST IMPORTANTLY I got to know many of you better! Connecting with those of you who follow my blog and social media is the greatest joy and accomplishment for me. My intention is always to forge new relationships and meet people through this blog and that goal has been realized in so many ways this year!
