This little kitchen is in the cottage on our ranch This little kitchen is in the cottage on our ranch that we have named “The Treehouse”. It sits up on a hill with a tree top view overlooking the Montana mountains. I shared an exterior view of this cottage a couple of weeks ago on my stories and it is saved in my story highlights under Ranch Tour.⁣ ⁣ Next week an editorial & photography team will be coming to the ranch to shoot this cottage and other parts of the ranch for 3 different magazines!🤗I am super excited/nervous and hoping everything goes well. I sat on the porch, with my dad, for a couple of h I sat on the porch, with my dad, for a couple of hours today, asking him questions about his life and writing his answers down in a book. ⁣ ⁣ As time passes, I realize that if I don’t hear his stories now, I may never know them. This summer is about slowing down and focusing on the people that are right in front of me. Less electronics…more being fully present. I lucked out in the dad department! My dad is kind I lucked out in the dad department! My dad is kind and loving and always supportive plus he gives great advice. I truly respect him as a man and a father. He is also one of the strongest men I have ever known as I have watched him overcome incredible health struggles in the past few years. ⁣ ⁣ When I met my husband and realized he had those same qualities, well…that was it for me. He is truly the most wonderful dad I know and our three kids feel exactly the same. I feel so blessed to watch him parent our kids and see the grace with which he approaches every situation.⁣ ⁣ Today is especially wonderful because my dad (& mom) arrived at the ranch! We weren’t sure if he was going to be able to travel up here this year but he was determined and they did it!! ⁣ ⁣ Truly a beautiful day! I wanted to introduce you to our boys today. 🐶W I wanted to introduce you to our boys today. 🐶We have three happy pups here on the ranch and they are a big part of the energy and joy that we experience everyday.⁣ ⁣ 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 is our senior #springerspaniel who is slowing down a bit but still gets lots of exercise patrolling the porch and barking at birds.⁣ ⁣ 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 is our beautiful #englishgoldenretreiver who is the explorer, porch sleeper and tail wagging greeter.⁣ ⁣ And 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻 is our 7 month old Springer who absolutely in heaven here on the ranch. We were worried that with all of the space and woods and wildlife here we would have to keep him in a leash for awhile but he has adapted quickly and now freely roams the ranch with our other boys. I have never seen a happier dog and he has been an absolute joy! Oh and he’s obsessed with water and the hoses!⁣ ⁣ My house is often full of dog hair and muddy footprints because there is no way to keep it clean with three dogs running in and out but I don’t mind at all. Life is messy and beautiful up here and that’s exactly how I like it!!⁣ ⁣ Do you have fur babies? DM me a picture!
