How to Set a Beautiful Spring Table

| | | |

Well, here we are, on the verge of spring, with flowers beginning to bloom in the yard and warmer days creeping in. It definitely feels like new beginnings and a fresh start around here and I am looking forward to celebrations with family and friends in the coming months. With Easter and Mother’s Day approaching I wanted to bring this post back around for you because it has so many beautiful spring table settings! My friends and I got together and shared our best ideas for how to set a beautiful spring table, so be sure to scroll down to the end of this post to see more inspiration.

The inspiration for this table came when I received the most lovely faux eucalyptus garland from my friends at Afloral. When I unpacked the shipping box, I was amazed at how realistic the silver dollar garland looked and began envisioning how I could use it on a spring table setting.

I knew I wanted to keep the color palette soft, using pale pinks and whites, so I started with a light gray linen table cloth as the base for my table setting.

I intertwined the beautiful faux silver dollar eucalyptus with a different variety of eucalyptus garland to create a full look. I placed it along the center of the table and added several soft pink faux peony heads along the length of the garland.

This created a lovely base for a fresh flower centerpiece filled with blush pink and white garden roses.

Our local farmer’s market had the most gorgeous garden roses available and I knew they would be stunning, arranged in a tall mercury glass compote vase. I gathered some greenery from our garden and simply arranged the garden roses with petit spray roses to create a romantic and soft spring centerpiece.

I especially love the juxtaposition of the fresh flowers next to the new floral art piece I recently added to the dining room. This might be my all-time favorite art piece for its soft colors and floral theme.

For the place settings, I chose a copper-colored, glitter glass charger topped with rustic, French provincial plates. I wanted the contrast between the casual plates and the more formal chargers.

On top of the plates, I placed a white linen napkin and a small willow nest filled with gold eggs and topped with a single rosebud.

I love the idea of adding a decorative element to each place setting that will become part of the overall centerpiece once guests sit down.

The final touch at each place was a set of rustic copper flatware and a blush pink champagne coupe…because no party is complete without a bit of bubbly!

I love the overall look of this spring table setting in soft pink tones for an Easter party, Mother’s Day or maybe a bridal or baby shower.

Perhaps best of all, is the eucalyptus garland that I can reuse season after season. I love how easy it was to add this to my table to create a beautiful table garland.

Oh, and it turns out Oliver felt right at home among all of the pretty flowers and soft pink accents in our dining room.

This is his favorite spot to sleep in the afternoons and my photoshoot was not going to stop him from taking a much needed nap.

I hope this gives you some ideas for how to set a beautiful spring table! Now scroll down to see the stunning table settings my friends have created for spring! Just tap on the blue links for more details.
