Christmas Decorating in the Kitchen
Hi All! I hope you are having a wonderful week! I have been a busy bee, decking the halls…and the kitchen..and living room…and then some as we prepare for the holidays. This year I started decorating a lot earlier than usual and I have to say I am loving the festive feel in our home! I added a few sprinkles of neutral Christmas decor to our kitchen and breakfast nook this week and it sure did get me in the mood to get the tree ornaments out! Stay tuned for that coming soon, but in the meantime, here’s a peek at our kitchen and breakfast nook with some simple greenery, pinecones and all of my favorite copper accents!
I was inspired to add some copper accents to my breakfast nook shelves and I love how they warm up the whole area.
I also added a simple EUCALYPTUS GARLAND along the molding above the paneled wall.
I mixed in a few festive accents on the shelves along with a sprinkle of greenery to tie the whole look together.
Since the breakfast nook is directly adjacent to the kitchen, the copper elements fit in perfectly with all of the POTS hanging over the range.
On the breakfast nook table, I filled a copper ice bucket with white hydrangea and CEDAR SPRIGS. I put the arrangement on my new favorite COPPER TRAY from TARGET.
On the floor, next to the Dutch door, I mixed some fresh and faux winter trees in rustic buckets and containers.
Meanwhile, on my kitchen counter I filled a chippy white dough bowl with some faux CEDAR BRANCHES and some white painted pine cones I found at HomeGoods.
Okay, you guys! I am seriously in love with these adorable MUGS from Hearth and Hand at TARGET. They come in four different styles and are so beautiful in person!
I also found some huge glass ornaments at HomeGoods in this pretty blush color, which is one of the colors I am using on my tree this year.
I love this little splash of holiday on my shelves.
Doing some simple Christmas decorating in my kitchen and breakfast nook definitely got me in the holiday mood. I am gathering all of the ingredients together for our Thanksgiving dinner this week and looking forward to having all of the kids home with us.
I can’t wait to get some time to snuggle together as a family, watch all of our favorite holiday movies, bake some cookies and enjoy the season of giving.
Have a wonderful week my friends!
